(Cut from weblogs)
Today I drove my family to New York City for the day. The first stop was Ground Zero, I was lucky enough to find
free parking just about 3 blocks away. Things look different from the last time I was at the site
(November 2001), now all the debris are gone, and besides memorials it's just a
huge construction site. Then we went to Saint Trinity Church (you've probably seen pictures of the towers on fire
behind the church). Up in Midtown I checked us into the hotel, then we went to Rockerfeller Center and I was glad
to see some fighter jets, and space stuff :) We then took the subway to Battery Park and took a ferry around the city,
it was my first time on a boat too, and as I was wondering, no I didn't get sea sick. Instead of staying overnight, we
wasted our money and left that night.

| Another thing I will be doing one of these days, flying a plane up and down the Hudson River, like that one you can
make out right below the sun |
