Flying - Philadelphia Area (12-23-2003)
[ Page 1 | Page 2 ]
'Twas the day before the night before Christmas, when all through the country
Not a terrorist was stirring, not even a rogue nuclear scientist;
The homeland security department issued a threat advisory of high,
And Philadelphia approach was cautious about their sky;
We flew outside of Class Bravo, doing circles around the Deleware River piers,
Finally we were cleared to enter, no thanks to national security fears;
Flying around Center City is always a kick ass flight,
I'm starting to run out of things to write,
When after leaving we flew to West Chester,
I had an appointment soon, so I made a requestxz0r.
"I have an appointment, and need to get back",
"So lets fly this plane like it's on crack!"
-From the pulitzer prize winning poet Marc Stephenson.
Today's flight was from Philadelphia Wings Field (LOM) -> Quakertown (UKT) ->
Northeast Philadelphia (PNE) -> Brandywine (N99) and back to Wings.

| Look at those A-10s... sitting there doing nothing. I would gladly
volunteer to fly them so tax payer money isn't wasted on paper weights. | |
