Reni: Marc, why don't you come visit us in Colorado?
Marc: surely!
Reni: Don't call me surely
Marc: Done! Pick me up on the 11th.

While I was in California I decided to visit Reni, David, the little boy, and the big mountain. Logic says I should change my return ticket from SJC-PHL to SJC-DEN-PHL, but Northwest says no way unless you buy another, seperate ticket. As it turns out a new one costed more than going back to PHL, waiting 12 hours, and leaving the next day on Continental. So, I just got another ticket from PHL, more miles!

It was a fun visit, I spent lots of time with the Kilo Niner too. We had grilled steak almost every day which was great (but not according to my heart). We ate at that airplane restaurant near COS too, the one with a converted military plane. And I got to sit in the cockpit pretending I know how to fly a plane! Oh wait?
Like every visit, there were some F/A-18s flying over Reni's place! Possibly some other jets, it's hard to keep track of it all when you're also watching the Military Channel.

There was about 15 people on this flight from CLE-PHL... and it was a 737-800 according to the
safety information sheet I borrowed. - Colorado Springs, CO (2005-11-11) US Airways new livery. I like it! - Colorado Springs, CO (2005-11-11)

Coming out of Starbucks in the morning, I thought this was funny for some immature reason...
Carolina Girl in Colorado loves her Weiner. And its been a while since I have seen a Mervyns! - Colorado Springs, CO (2005-11-11) Driving past Colorado Springs airport we spotted a 747 which is unusual. So I took a couple
shots. It owned by General Electric, and it is used to test new engines. I couldnt see the right side
of the plane but perhaps it is testing the new 787 Dreamliner engine. You can see another shot of it
